3.2. Is it also possible to spray only water?

In principle, we do not recommend to sprayed. However, attention has to be paid to the following instruction for the reliability of the equipment function: Depending on the calcium hardness or the natrium concentration of the water, furring may occur in pipes and nozzles, which can reduce the quantity of spray.

For devices with piston pump function (for e.g. Lubrimat / Sawfix / Toolmat / Centermat/ Pulsomat), the medium to be used should have a lubricating feature so that the piston/cylinder and its sealings are lubricated. This does not apply for pure water.
If you want to use beside this water, add small quantities of a lubricant (for e.g. flushing medium* or lubricating oil) to the water. If this is not possible, you must consider one maintenance interval for the regreasing of the pumps.
  * = No alkaline liquids should be used. Hence, we recommend neutrally reactant detergents with non-ionic surfactants.
